This is a letter of recommendation and thanks for Alternatives in Realty and their President, Peter.

This past October I found myself at a crossroad , unsure of which way to turn. My husband had been out of work since March, bills were becoming increasingly difficult to pay and the last mortgage payment was paid with a credit card check. I was on the verge of calling a realty office which had been intermittently calling throughout the summer saying they had clients looking to buy in my area. I put them off at my husband's insistence in hopes of a job interview coming through. It never did.

Alternatives in Realty spoke directly to my problems. Unsure if this was too good to be true I consulted several friends before getting up the nerve to call. I called on a Friday morning of a holiday weekend and left a message with a receptionist. My call was soon returned by Peter. Fearing I could not wait any longer and looking at a long weekend; I asked if he could come by that afternoon. He accepted without hesitation. He arrived at the scheduled time, introduced himself, explained what Alternatives in Realty was about and how he might help me.

I found him to be very friendly, easy to confide in and empathetic to my situation. We parted that day with an agreement to do business. He left me his business card and cell phone number. He had my number. We met a few times after that. He later gave names/numbers at a realty company to help me search for an apartment.

Pending any problems, everything was to be finalized (house sold) within 30 days. He kept in touch with me by phone. I called him several times with questions, concerns and updates, always getting a return call if not immediately available.

I had never heard about Alternatives in Realty before. My house, otherwise, would probably still have a for sale sign up.

Things moved quickly and efficiently. It was a stressful time. It was comforting to have Peter to assist and listen to me. I would readily recommend Peter and Alternatives in Realty to anyone who found themselves in a situation warranting of their services.
